Job Description

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior SoC Power/Performance Post-Si Validation & Emulation Engineer to join their Global SoC System Validation Team within the QCT organization. This role represents an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of semiconductor technology with one of the world's leading wireless technology innovators.

The position involves ensuring the overall quality of SoC silicon through both pre-silicon (emulation) and post-silicon validation techniques. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for verifying critical components including SoC/CPU/GPU/DDR/NOC blocks, developing sophisticated methodologies, and creating automation solutions using Python and other programming languages.

The role offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $140,000 to $210,000, complemented by annual bonuses and RSU grants. Responsibilities For SoC Power/Performance Post-Si Validation & Emulation Engineer

  • Collaborate with emulation power/performance architects to enhance platform performance
  • Work with IP teams to streamline RTL for emulation platforms
  • Perform power, thermal, and performance measurements and analysis
  • Define relevant power use-cases for SoC and various IPs
  • Develop and automate methodologies for emulation and validation flows

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience
  • Understanding of SoC Power Delivery Network architectures
  • Knowledge of electrical/Circuit properties
  • Experience with multiple SoC bring-ups
  • Proficiency in Linux, Python, TCL, and C/C++
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
