This role involves developing products for clients, creating tools to support Analysts and Consultants, and building internal software solutions. The position requires 1-2 days per week in office or client site, offering a hybrid work environment. The tech stack includes Python, Django, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Terraform, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Redis, and GitHub Actions. Responsibilities For Senior Software Developer
- Delivering on projects as part of a team of developers to create impactful products
- Writing robust and maintainable code
- Helping to shape internal processes and practices
- Collaborating closely with the wider QR team to help problem solve, define, deliver, and code review features
- Attending and leading sessions within the Special Projects daily stand-ups and monthly workshops
- Contributing to and learning from our knowledgebase
- Mentoring less experienced members of the team to facilitate their professional growth
Requirements For Senior Software Developer
- Professional experience with multiple key technologies
- Experience using the Python programming language
- A demonstrable history of designing and developing impactful applications
- Understanding and ideas around the latest web development tools and techniques
- Professional experience with the latest tools and techniques for web development
- Writing maintainable code, testing and documenting thoroughly
- Experience with developing full-stack Django applications (preferred)
- Experience with AWS and Terraform (preferred)
