Job Description

Ramp, a rapidly growing financial operations platform, is seeking an Infrastructure Software Engineer to join their engineering team. The company, which has enabled over $80 billion in purchases annually and serves 40,000+ businesses, is building the future of AI-powered financial operations.

The role focuses on developing and scaling critical infrastructure components using cloud-native technologies. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be working with technologies like AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Kubernetes to build robust, scalable systems. The position requires someone with strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and database systems, who can both architect solutions and participate in on-call rotations.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who want to make a significant impact at a company that's been recognized by Fast Company, LinkedIn, Forbes, and TIME Magazine. The position offers competitive compensation ($155K-$213.2K plus equity) and comprehensive benefits including full medical coverage, 401k matching, and flexible PTO.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, and either database administration, queue systems, or container orchestration. You'll be joining a team that values ownership, learning, and technical excellence, working on challenges that directly impact thousands of businesses' financial operations.

Working in a hybrid setting in New York, you'll collaborate with a talented engineering team while helping to shape the future of financial technology. This role offers the perfect blend of technical challenges, growth opportunities, and the chance to work with cutting-edge AI and cloud technologies.
