Description For Senior Automation developer (SE/AM)

Renault Group, a leading global automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Automation Developer to join their team in Chennai. This role sits at the intersection of software development and mechanical engineering, focusing on developing automation scripts for CAD/PDM systems.

The position involves creating and maintaining automation scripts using EKL/CATScript/VBA technologies to streamline the work of the Architecture and design team. You'll be responsible for implementing standard rules, reducing manual workload, and improving delivery times through automation.

As a Senior Automation Developer, you'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand technical requirements, perform feasibility studies, and develop custom solutions in the 3Dexperience/CATIA environment. This role requires a unique blend of mechanical engineering knowledge and software development skills, particularly in CAD automation.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CATIA/CATScript/EKL, advanced CAD/PDM skills, and a solid understanding of automotive engineering domains including electrical systems, architecture, and interior/exterior design.
