Responsibilities For Lead Engineer, Data Engineering
- Lead critical data architecture design and development activities
- Architect and build data solutions using Kafka and Flink for real-time analytics
- Develop large-scale data warehouse solutions using SQL and dbt on Snowflake Platform
- Lead development of data products including dimensional data models and semantic layers
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Champion best practices in engineering and data strategy
Requirements For Lead Engineer, Data Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- 10+ years of experience with SQL on large-scale analytics platforms
- 10+ years in software development
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Python, version control systems, and data pipelines
- 5+ years managing GitHub repositories and deploying cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with statistical methods, machine learning, or artificial intelligence
