API Developer / Integrations Engineer

Ridecell is a leading provider of fleet orchestration solutions for fleet and leasing management. We're seeking an API Developer / Integrations Engineer to join our team and lead the design and development of APIs while managing robust integrations with external systems.

As an API Developer / Integrations Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing and building secure, scalable RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Developing integrations with external systems, including third-party platforms and data providers
• Ensuring API performance, versioning, documentation, and backward compatibility
• Implementing authentication and authorization best practices
• Monitoring integration reliability and handling edge cases
• Writing technical documentation for developers

Our ideal candidate brings:

• 3+ years of experience in backend/API development
• Strong proficiency in modern backend languages (Node.js, Python, Go, Java)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of API management tools and practices
• Expertise in data formats and transport protocols
• Background in event-driven architectures and messaging systems
