Staff Software Development Engineer in Test

Robinhood Markets is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test to join their team in Toronto, ON. As a core member of the SDET team, you'll directly impact the lifeline of the business by maintaining a high bar for quality of our award-winning iOS, Android apps as well as Web app. You'll own test automation for major features and will be working closely with engineering teams across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help accelerate quality engineering practice by building test automation frameworks, tools and processes
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Engineering, Infrastructure and Product teams
• Drive QE automation strategy and enable adoption of effective processes and solutions
• Apply technical expertise and thought partnership across the engineering organization
• Design and implement tools to build, maintain and operate test automation frameworks
• Enable Robinhood's Quality Engineers by providing learning and development support
• Deliver high-quality, impactful projects in record time with thoughtful planning

Requirements:

• Previous experience in test automation and quality engineering teams
• Hands-on experience in Web, iOS, Android and API test automation (Selenium, Appium, XCUI, Espresso)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Swift, JavaScript)
• Solid understanding and programming experience in object-oriented languages
• Excellent communication skills and passion for tough technical problems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Cloud Testing Infrastructure like BrowserStack
