Responsibilities For Sr. Applications Engineer - Engine Development

  • Manage product performance attributes and lifecycle management for new or existing products
  • Specify, size, and select subsystem components for engine or power systems designs
  • Test and validate power systems and components
  • Analyze engine/generator performance based on site conditions
  • Contribute to Engine Calibration refinement via analytical analysis and testing
  • Author test reports and performance summary reports
  • Liaison with global engine development teams

Requirements For Sr. Applications Engineer - Engine Development

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Software Engineering plus 5 years' experience
  • Experience with automotive, power generation, engine calibration, engine design, engine simulation
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink, NI Labview, PLC Programming, Networking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Project management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
