  • Develop and maintain Safety Cases for Electronic Engine Control and Monitoring Systems

Requirements For Senior Software Safety Engineer-Aerospace Controls

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 2+ years experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Experience with requirements management
  • 5+ years of product safety engineering experience preferred
  • Software development or system safety analysis experience
  • Experience with military qualification and/or FAA certification
  • Knowledge of standards: ARP4754, ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, DO-178C, DO-254
  • Gas turbine engine or propulsion control system experience preferred
  • Experience with tools like Fault Tree+, Reliability Workbench, DOORS
  • Knowledge of systems engineering and robust design tools
