RTX (Raytheon Technologies Corporation) is seeking a Workday Extend Senior Developer to join their HR Technology organization in Bangalore, India. This role is part of the Global People Services (GPS) organization that partners with HR Organizations across RTX to optimize employee experience from recruitment to retirement.
The position requires an experienced developer with deep expertise in Workday Extend, focusing on developing and maintaining custom solutions using PMD Scripting, Orchestration, and various API integrations. You'll be responsible for providing L2 & L3 support, acting as a key liaison between technical and business stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement of existing applications.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of HR systems experience, with specific expertise in Workday technologies. You'll need strong technical skills in JavaScript, XML, and API integration, combined with excellent communication abilities to work effectively with global teams. Responsibilities For Workday Extend Senior Developer
- Develop subject matter expertise on Workday Extend functionalities
- Provide End to end support in Workday Extend Production support for L2 & L3 level tickets
- Act as liaison between Regional Lead, Functional COE and HR BUs
- Maintain existing solutions in Workday Extend
- Create and maintain Business Objects Design
- Implement Custom Business Process and Execute Orchestration Design with SOAP APIs
- Create & enhance Extend apps with PMD Scripting, Orchestration, Model Components, REST & SOAP APIs
- Demo and prototype new solutions to stakeholders
- Perform continuous improvement & optimization of current Workday Extend apps
- Coordinate communication with HR and Payroll system stakeholders
Requirements For Workday Extend Senior Developer
- Bachelor's Degree required (Advanced degree preferred)
- 6+ years of experience with HR systems
- 4+ years working in a Workday environment
- 3+ years working in Workday Extend & Studio
- Experience in JSON, XML, XSLT & JavaScript
- Knowledge in Model Components design & development
- Advanced knowledge of Workday report writing, Calculated Fields & Data Conversion
- Workday certifications in Integration Core and Workday Extend & Studio preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Professional certifications in PMP, ITIL, AGILE or WATERFALL preferred
