Salesforce is seeking a Senior Customer Centric Engineer to join their team focused on maintaining reliability and trust in their core CRM platform. The position involves working with the Lightning UI platform, troubleshooting complex customer implementations, and collaborating across multiple teams including Customer Service, Development, and Site Reliability.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of technical experience, with particular expertise in Java and JavaScript development. They'll work on critical customer escalations, debug complex technical issues, and help improve platform stability and performance. Responsibilities For Senior Customer Centric Engineer

  • Solve critical customer escalations using Java, JavaScript, Database, Web API and UI skills
  • Troubleshoot and identify root causes of issues
  • Propose test cases and code changes to fix problems
  • Provide information to customer facing teams
  • Mentor internal support teams on technical issues
  • Build relationships across Customer Service, Development, and Site Reliability teams
  • Champion Supportability and Debug-ability initiatives
  • Work on infrastructure services improvement
  • Analyze customer platform usage patterns
  • Deliver presentations on metrics and trends

Requirements For Senior Customer Centric Engineer

Java

  • Related technical degree
  • 5+ years of technical experience with 2+ years in software development
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Linux, networking, server, and cloud architectures
  • Deep understanding of DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, SQL, HTTP
  • Background in Java and Javascript
  • Very good understanding of RDBMS
  • Experience with Eclipse, IntelliJ or VSCode
  • Knowledge of cloud security and best practices
