Description For Senior Customer Centric Engineer (CCE)

Join Salesforce's MuleSoft Customer Centric Engineering team, where trust is the #1 priority. As a Senior CCE, you'll be part of a high-impact global engineering team focused on solving complex technical customer escalations and improving product supportability. The role combines deep technical expertise with customer success, requiring both strong engineering skills and excellent communication abilities.

You'll work with cloud applications handling billions of transactions daily for 150,000+ companies, investigating and resolving critical functional, performance, scalability, and security issues. The position demands expertise in Java, cloud technologies, and microservices architecture, along with strong troubleshooting capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who enjoy both technical problem-solving and customer interaction. You'll collaborate across multiple teams, including Customer Services, R&D, and data center operations, while championing support and debug initiatives throughout the organization.

Responsibilities For Senior Customer Centric Engineer (CCE)

  • Solve critical customer technical escalations using OOP, Database, Cloud, web API and UI skills
  • Identify solutions or complex bugs in the product
  • Identify root causes, propose test cases and fixes
  • Provide timely information to customer facing teams
  • Enable and mentor Technical Support teams
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Champion Support and Debug initiatives throughout R&D
  • Develop high-quality, production ready Tools

Requirements For Senior Customer Centric Engineer (CCE)

  • 5+ years of overall experience in software engineering
  • Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming languages: Java, J2EE
  • Familiarity with Oracle and/or other relational databases
  • Experience with Spring Boot Microservices, REST, Java Web Services, JMS, XML, JSON
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge on AWS cloud APIs like RDS, DynamoDB, S3, SQS
  • Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ
  • Deep understanding of Java class loading mechanism
  • Familiarity with Linux/UNIX or Mac Terminal command-line
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Related technical degree required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen operating on U.S. Soil
