Software Engineering MTS - Workday Recruiting and Workday HCM

Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineer (Member of the Technical Staff) to join their growing Business Technology team. This key role in the BT Finance engineering team is a hybrid position focusing on configuring, developing, and testing Workday functionalities and integrations. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Workday and other Finance applications, with hands-on Workday experience and a good understanding of industry best practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering Workday enhancements to support implementation
• Collaborating with internal Workday support teams and business users
• Participating in product and feature design sessions
• Developing Reports, Dashboards, and Integrations using Workday tool sets
• Contributing to code reviews
• Diagnosing and managing quality issues

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of Workday implementation experience
• Proficiency in Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio, WD extend, XSLT, Connectors & Document Transformation, and BIRT
• Experience leading at least 2 full lifecycle Workday implementations
• Knowledge of data modeling design and relational database languages
• Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP and REST)
• Workday certification or PRO: Workday Technical and Business process
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Workday Financials
• Experience building solutions in Workday Extend
• Knowledge of other Workday modules like Accounting Center, Prism, Workday Extend
• Experience with Version Control, Code Collaboration, and Continuous Integration Systems
