Principal AI Infrastructure Engineer

America's defense industrial base runs on infrastructure built in the 1980s. SalesPatriot is revolutionizing this space by building AI infrastructure to eliminate manual bottlenecks in critical national security workflows.

As a Principal AI Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of building the AI-native command center for U.S. defense logistics. You'll work on transforming thousands of daily requests for urgent parts into structured, automated workflows, combining full-stack engineering with LLM infrastructure and human-in-the-loop systems.

Key aspects of the role:

• Architect data pipelines that normalize chaotic inputs (PDFs, Excel, emails, ERP dumps) into structured formats
• Design and implement human-in-the-loop AI systems with phased deployment
• Build operational UIs and frontend infrastructure for workflow management
• Develop AI-powered quoting systems handling hundreds of RFQs daily
• Create backtesting frameworks for AI deployments
• Build intelligent data input interfaces with schema inference
• Own end-to-end systems from frontend to backend to AI model prompts
