Responsibilities For Maintenance Engineer
- Maintain facility systems including conveyors and related control systems
- Replace and repair bearings, rollers, bands, conveyor belts, gear box, motors, air valves, lace and track conveyor belts
- May supervise Facilities employees in DC; direct work and provide training as needed
- Review schematics and troubleshoot basic panel indicators
- Review HMI reporting, clear jams and fault conditions
- Work closely with IT and DSaP staff, DC staff and Vendor Support/Service providers to diagnose and address concerns
- Define and execute training programs for maintenance personnel and operators
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements
- Respond to management and internal customer inquiries
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements For Maintenance Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience with industrial equipment
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience maintaining conveyor belt systems
- May be required to complete and maintain SanMar's Lift Operator Certification every two years
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines
- Ability to travel as needed to support SanMar distribution network
- Flexible with schedule, able to provide off-hours support either remotely, or onsite, as needed
