As a Composites Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for composite materials used in ASV production
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate composite design specifications
- Establish quality control measures and conduct root cause analysis
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and stay updated on industry trends
- Create and maintain documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
- Provide training and support to production personnel
Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Composites Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Proven experience in composites manufacturing engineering
- Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, or maritime technologies
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of industry standards related to autonomous maritime systems and composite materials
