The role of Senior Software Test Engineer sits within the Hivemind Test team, focusing on building robust test infrastructure for the world's best AI pilot. This position is crucial for ensuring quality, reliability, and performance across the entire Hivemind ecosystem, which encompasses autonomy behaviors, ground-control systems, multi-network communications, operating systems, and embedded devices.
As a Senior Engineer, you'll become a super-user of their AI software product, designing and implementing innovative automation frameworks, collaborating with developers to identify and resolve bugs, and integrating new capabilities into the product framework. The role requires expertise in automation testing, data analysis, and a deep understanding of software testing methodologies.
Key responsibilities include designing test plans for single and multi-robot autonomy algorithms, implementing comprehensive coverage testing, creating automation tooling, and working with prototype robotic hardware platforms.
