As a Retail Analytics Data Engineer, you'll be at the core of our data operations, working directly with the Founder, COO, and Senior Data Engineers to build and maintain sophisticated data pipelines and analytics solutions.
The role combines technical expertise in SQL, ETL processes, and data visualization with the opportunity to directly impact how some of the world's biggest retailers make decisions. You'll be working with a modern tech stack including Snowflake, Alteryx, GCP, and Tableau, while having the autonomy to shape and improve our data infrastructure.

You'll need to bring at least 2 years of professional experience in SQL and ETL workflows, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities For Retail Analytics Data Engineer (2+ years exp)
- Collaborate with Founder, COO and Data Engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
- Collaborate with customers' analytics teams for requirements gathering, data mapping, and feedback collection
- Lead data workstreams end-to-end
- Analyze raw retail data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
- Build and maintain SQL datasets and Alteryx workflows
- Work with technology stack including Snowflake, Alteryx, GCP, and Tableau
Requirements For Retail Analytics Data Engineer (2+ years exp)
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Software Development, Data Analytics or related discipline
- 2+ years professional experience working in SQL
- Experience in building robust and extensible data pipelines
- Alteryx Designer Core Certification or willingness to obtain it
- 2+ years professional experience building and scheduling ETL workflows
- Proficiency in data cleansing including regex, data transpose/crosstab, join, group, union
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
