Responsibilities For Systems/Software Engineer I-III

  • Design, develop, and maintain software components and automation tools
  • Create and modify scripts utilities and tools for CANES configuration
  • Integrate hardware and software with VMware-based virtual infrastructures
  • Support software patching, updates, and application compatibility testing
  • Create and maintain system automation tools using Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash
  • Contribute to system compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with CANES Engineering team
  • Support production installation events and lab integration testing

Requirements For Systems/Software Engineer I-III

  • 3-10+ years of experience
  • Security+ or CISSP certification required within 6 months
  • Operating System certification (Linux, Windows, VMware, Cisco) required within 6 months
  • Must possess or obtain active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's or Technical Degree from an accredited college or university
  • CANES experience preferred
