Senior Product Engineer (Full Stack, Data Platform)

Slingshot AI is a well-funded Series A startup backed by top-tier tech investors, focusing on using AI to revolutionize mental healthcare. As the Senior Product Engineer (Full Stack, Data Platform), you'll lead the development of Slingshot's Data Platform, crucial for training and aligning conversational models and agents in the psychology domain.

You'll work with a team of ML engineers, conversational designers, writers, and psychotherapists to implement features that enhance the experience for end-users facing mental health challenges. This role demands a full-stack approach, where you'll act as your own product manager and designer, tackling complex problems with an experimental mindset.

Key technologies include NextJS (Typescript, Vercel, Supabase), with interactions involving Kotlin backend, Flutter mobile app, and Python machine learning services. You'll also work with custom in-house language models, voice models, and large language models.

The ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of full-stack experience
• Proficiency in React, Typescript, and CSS
• Experience shipping web applications from zero to one
• Fluency in multiple general-purpose programming languages
• Knowledge of modern backend technologies and architectures
• A generalist mindset with a passion for solving hard problems
• The ability to work at a fast pace, shipping and iterating quickly
