Water Treatment Engineer

SMS Environmental is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to join their experienced team. This role involves driving the evolution of Water Treatment and Air Purification with innovation and best practices to ensure the highest safety of people within UK communities. The position is field-based, primarily operating across South Wales with occasional travel to Bristol and Wiltshire sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering various water hygiene works
• Cleaning and disinfecting showers
• Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
• Delivering TMV checks and maintenance
• Checking and disinfecting calorifiers
• Completing all work on in-house software using an iPad

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous water hygiene experience in a legionella control focused role
• Experience in flushing, temperature checking, TMV servicing, shower descaling, and water tank cleaning
• Familiarity with iPad technology
• Full UK Driving License
