Senior Value Engineer

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Value Engineer to join their team and help build the future of data. In this role, you will be responsible for executing value-based activities throughout the sales cycle to drive customer consumption and ensure successful value realization. You will deliver Value Assessments and Value Realization services for select customers, conduct quantitative analysis, ROI modeling, and value realization benchmarking. The role involves creating and delivering business value deliverables to customer CXO roles, driving business value discovery workshops, and supporting the development of new value assets, tools, and collateral. You will also educate Snowflake sales teams on value engineering best practices to improve value-based selling. This position requires up to 60% travel to support sales efforts and industry events.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing value-based activities in the sales cycle
• Delivering Value Assessments and Value Realization services
• Conducting quantitative analysis, ROI modeling, and value realization benchmarking
• Creating and delivering business value deliverables to customer CXO roles
• Driving business value discovery workshops
• Supporting the development of new value assets, tools, and collateral
• Educating Snowflake sales teams on value engineering best practices

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, value consulting, value engineering, financial/investment analysis, or other applicable roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for qualitative and quantitative business cases
• Self-management skills, responsiveness, and dedication to customer success
• Deep financial analysis and modeling skills for ROI and TCO concepts
• Industry benchmarking experience in major industries such as Financial Services, Retail, Public Sector, Manufacturing, and Healthcare
• Experience with enterprise cloud economics and understanding of enterprise data management concepts
• A Master's Degree or MBA (preferred)
