Senior Platform Engineer

Sonar is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Engineering Experience squad, focusing on accelerating developer productivity across the Sonar supply chain. This role is crucial in evolving Sonar's engineering experience by designing, building, and maintaining core CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.

The position involves managing critical infrastructure components including Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Release Validation, Release Management, Secrets Management, Dependency Management, GitHub Actions Platform, and Developer Self-Service tools. The team operates primarily in AWS environment, utilizing modern DevOps practices and tools.

As a Platform Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Owning and enhancing CI/CD pipelines
• Developing self-service tools for developers
• Implementing security measures across the software supply chain
• Automating infrastructure and pipeline configurations
• Leading cross-team collaborations to improve engineering workflows

The ideal candidate should possess strong programming skills in both static and dynamic languages, deep knowledge of AWS, expertise in containerization technologies, and experience with Infrastructure as Code. They should also demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, with a pragmatic and results-driven approach.
