Tech/Principal Lead Engineer - Typescript/Node/React/AWS - Contract

Squiz, a global digital experience platform provider, is seeking two Technical Lead/Principal Engineers to join their product team. This is a 6-month contract position with a focus on delivering a cloud-based Digital Experience Platform (DXP). The role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership, requiring expertise in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement across Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne, emphasizing flexibility and work-life balance. As a Technical Lead, you'll be deeply involved in coding while guiding architecture, shaping technical direction, and mentoring team members. The role requires strong experience in full-stack development, testing strategies, and secure coding practices.

Squiz's DXP brings together content management, optimization tooling, and platform services. The company, founded in 1998, has evolved from a simple web content management system to a comprehensive digital experience platform, helping organizations transform from content managers to experience creators.

The ideal candidate will have proven technical leadership experience, strong full-stack engineering capabilities, and expertise in the core tech stack. Additional experience with Content Management Systems, Digital Experience Platforms, AI solutions, Search, or Vector databases would be advantageous.
