Tech/Principal Lead Engineer - Typescript/Node/React/AWS - Contract

Squiz, a global digital experience platform provider, is seeking 2 Technical Lead/Principal Engineers for a 6-month contract position. This is a hands-on leadership role working on their cloud-based Digital Experience Platform (DXP) with core capabilities in Content Management, Optimization tooling, and Platform services. The role combines technical leadership with active coding, using TypeScript end-to-end, React frontend, and Node backend running on AWS. The position offers hybrid work flexibility across Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne locations.

The ideal candidate will bring senior technical capabilities to fast-track their roadmap and deliver key capabilities. You'll be deeply involved in coding while providing architectural guidance and mentoring. The role requires expertise in their DXP tech stack, strong testing principles, and secure coding practices. Experience with CMS/DXP systems and interest in AI solutions, Search, or Vector databases is a plus.
