Description For Full Stack Engineer

Stash is revolutionizing the gaming industry by creating a direct connection between game developers and their players. Founded by industry veterans including Twitch co-founder Justin Kan, Zynga executive Robin Chan, and Google engineer Dan Borstelmann, Stash provides game developers with essential tools to sell directly to players, bypassing traditional platforms and their 30% commissions.

As a Full Stack Engineer at Stash, you'll be part of a high-performing engineering team working on complex infrastructure that supports large-scale applications and APIs. The role combines backend development using Go and frontend work with React, all deployed on GCP through Vercel. You'll be tackling unique problems at scale, despite being part of a small, efficient team.

The position demands excellence in building robust, scalable, and secure systems that support web and mobile platforms. You'll work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless application integration and help set the technical direction for the software team. The role emphasizes performance optimization, clear code writing, and comprehensive system monitoring.

This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced engineers who want to make a significant impact in the gaming industry while working with cutting-edge technologies. You'll be joining a company with deep industry expertise and a clear vision for transforming how game developers interact with their players.

The ideal candidate will bring strong computer science fundamentals, extensive experience with cloud infrastructure, and a proven track record of building and maintaining large-scale applications. Your expertise in API development, system debugging, and infrastructure monitoring will be crucial in helping Stash achieve its mission of empowering game developers to be their own platforms.
