This role focuses on implementing and supporting ServiceNow solutions for Sourcing & Procurement Operations and Hardware and Software Asset Lifecycle management. As a member of a globally distributed team, you'll be responsible for technical development and platform customization while ensuring smooth operations of the ServiceNow platform.
The position requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow platform development, with a focus on designing and building custom applications and workflows. You'll be working with various ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITAM, and ITBM, while utilizing JavaScript and Glide API for custom development. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring both strong coding skills and the ability to mentor other team members.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 4 years specifically in ServiceNow platform development. You should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and preferably hold certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ITIL certifications.

Responsibilities For ServiceNow Application Developer - Assistant Vice President
- Deliver business application needs while preserving baseline functionality with customization and extension of the platform modules
- Design and develop new ServiceNow applications and services
- Drive the adoption and utilization of ServiceNow services across the organization
- Assist ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution
- Provide mentoring and guidance for ServiceNow System Administrators
- Take ownership of complex business requirements and work them to completion
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization within ServiceNow workflows
Requirements For ServiceNow Application Developer - Assistant Vice President
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in professional software development
- 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform development
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITAM, ITBM, and Service Catalog
- Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and building custom workflows and integrations
- Good knowledge on designing, implementing, and maintaining the CSDM architecture
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes within ITIL framework
- Strong requirements gathering and refining experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective written and oral communication skills
