Senior Staff Software Engineer

Stryker, a leading medical technology company, is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join their Endoscopy division in Flower Mound, Texas. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days per week in the office.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical visualization systems and Connected OR Hub solutions. As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you'll lead the design and implementation of complex systems for Endoscopy products, specializing in various technology domains including video processing, communication systems, and software architecture.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in Windows-based application development using C#, C++, and .NET, with a strong focus on WPF and Windows Services. You'll be responsible for translating user needs into technical specifications, designing scalable system architectures, and ensuring the development of safe, robust, and user-friendly software products.

Key aspects of the role include mentoring other engineers, driving technical decisions, and collaborating with quality and regulatory teams for risk analysis. You'll work closely with customers and clinical experts to shape product strategy, ensuring solutions meet both technical requirements and user needs.
