Responsibilities For QE Engineer Core Platforms
- Create, document and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and quality metrics
- Design and execute test strategies across multiple platforms, focusing on Kubernetes environments
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for complex distributed systems
- Collaborate with development teams for early issue detection and resolution
- Validate core platform behavior across different SUSE solutions
- Perform analysis of test results and provide quality reports
- Build and maintain test environments simulating real-world scenarios
Requirements For QE Engineer Core Platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 3+ years of software quality engineering experience
- Experience with test automation and continuous integration practices
- Strong experience with Linux, containers, and Kubernetes
- Experience testing distributed systems and Kubernetes based platforms
- Experience with test frameworks (Ginkgo or similar)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
