Field Engineer – QA (3 months Contractor) – Taboola News

Taboola, the world's number 1 discovery platform, is seeking a Field Engineer – QA (3 months Contractor) for Taboola News in Beijing, China. Taboola News is the largest content discovery system globally, launched in over 50 markets with leading OEMs. The role requires high technical knowledge due to the product's low maturity and high traffic volume.

Key responsibilities include:

• Thorough testing of APKs/APIs for data accuracy, response times, and reliability
• Driving test plans, designing test cases, executing tests, and bug reporting
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to improve test assets and processes
• Learning new tools, technologies, and environments

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (computer science preferred) or comparable work experience
• 1+ years of experience in APK/API testing (e.g., Postman, Charles Proxy, Chrome Inspect)
• Knowledge of testing processes, principles, techniques, and methods
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to finding issues
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively
• Great communication skills in both written and oral English

• Significant experience working in the mobile industry with top OEMs
