Description For Software Engineer

Tabs, a Series A AI-powered revenue automation platform, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in New York City. The company has raised $35M from top-tier VCs like Lightspeed and Primary Ventures, and focuses on helping B2B businesses automate their billing and revenue processes using AI technology.

As a Software Engineer at Tabs, you'll work directly with the CTO to develop and scale their technology platform. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape the company's direction and make meaningful impact in an early-stage startup environment. The team operates in one-week sprints with weekly ship goals and maintains an in-office culture that emphasizes collaboration and quick feedback cycles.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of professional engineering experience and be comfortable building platform services from scratch. Strong knowledge of TypeScript or Python is required, along with a solid foundation in computer science. The role involves full life-cycle software development and designing scalable systems.

The company offers an attractive compensation package ranging from $140K to $200K plus equity, comprehensive healthcare coverage, 401(k) plan, and various perks including daily meal stipends and commuter benefits. The position is based at their office in Grand Central Tech, offering a collaborative environment with plenty of whiteboard space and team interaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level engineer who wants to work in an AI-focused environment, enjoys building systems from the ground up, and wants to be part of a fast-growing startup that's transforming how B2B companies handle their revenue operations.
