The Customer Engineering team at Tenstorrent is seeking a talented intern with solid software development experience and an interest in applying their skills to develop AI and HPC Kernels. This internship is based on-site in Santa Clara, CA, offering a hybrid work arrangement.
Key responsibilities include: • Developing AI and HPC kernels on the TT-Metalium SW stack • Documenting existing and newly implemented kernels • Participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
Qualifications and experience required: • Solid working knowledge of Python (required) • Experience with C/C++ • Academic and/or practical knowledge of AI/ML • Previous experience in CUDA, OpenCL, or RoCM Kernel programming is beneficial • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Tenstorrent offers competitive compensation packages for all engineers, ranging from $100k to $500k, including base and variable compensation targets.
