Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Semi Truck, Vehicle Functional Safety Testing

  • Work with Test and Integration Engineers to validate vehicle functional safety for Semi program
  • Swap interior/exterior trim and vehicle parts
  • Interpret block diagrams and vehicle wiring schematics
  • Build, debug, rework, and dismantle complex vehicle instrumentation systems
  • Design, build, and dismantle static fixtures made of T-Slotted aluminum

Requirements For Engineering Technician, Semi Truck, Vehicle Functional Safety Testing

Linux
  • Custom harness building experience with signal and power cables (22 gauge to 0 gauge)
  • Experience with Can Bus communication and vehicle instrumentation using oscilloscopes
  • Ability to manage multiple test priorities and communicate proactively
  • Skills in analyzing test data and identifying trends
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers on test setup and electrical issues
