The Systems Validation team is at the forefront of validating all software-driven, system-level vehicle requirements before any new hardware or software release or product introduction. You'll be working with cutting-edge automated test infrastructure to enhance the efficiency and precision of testing throughout the development and validation cycle.
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test strategies for various vehicle systems, including Drive Systems, Brakes, Steering, Suspension, Crash Safety, Thermal Management, HVAC, Body Controls, and more. Your work will directly impact the performance, reliability, and safety of Tesla's vehicles by ensuring seamless integration of software across various subsystems.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and a strong background in Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields. You should be proficient in Python, C++, and Rust, with experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing methodologies. Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols and diagnostic tools is essential.
