Tesla is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Camera Hardware to join their Self-Driving and Electronic Systems Engineering Team. This role is crucial in leading the development of Tesla Semi-Truck Camera and Camera Cleaning products, contributing to Tesla's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Semi-Truck Camera Hardware and Camera Cleaning product development
  • Managing programs from end-to-end, working with various engineering teams
  • Setting goals, tracking deliverables, and providing clear input on schedules and issues
  • Communicating engineering requirements between Supply Chain and Purchasing
  • Consolidating inputs for executive reviews, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Evolving processes for increased precision while maintaining agility
  • Leading teams through rapid development cycles and changing requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in medium-to-high volume industry
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering, software development, and mechanical engineering processes
  • Experience in planning activities and vendor management in an engineering environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work cross-functionally
