The position involves developing complex digital systems for applications ranging from satellite constellations to commercial aircraft computing systems. Engineers will work with leading-edge technology and world-class partners to create some of the most sophisticated SoCs in the industry. The team develops custom processors using ARM IP for high-integrity flight computers and implements the latest digital IC design processes.

The role offers unique opportunities to work across Boeing's diverse portfolio, with approximately half the design work focused on Space & Launch and half on other divisions including AvionX, Missiles & Weapons, and Autonomous Systems. Engineers will lead FPGA/ASIC designs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement complex digital logic, and ensure robust verification through various methodologies.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers to make significant contributions to aerospace and defense technology. The position offers competitive compensation ($104,550 - $210,450 based on level), comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work on projects that advance both commercial aviation and space exploration. Boeing provides a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of ASIC/FPGA experience, strong technical skills in digital design and verification, and the ability to lead complex projects.
