Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems is seeking a Digital Electronics Circuit & Unit Hardware Design Engineer to join their Space Digital Products & Electronics team in El Segundo, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital solutions for communication satellites, focusing on digital signal processing, data communication, and embedded systems.

The position is based at a comprehensive facility featuring an on-site satellite factory, where all electronics teams are co-located to ensure maximum collaboration and efficiency. As part of Boeing's Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems Division, the role involves working on diverse projects ranging from satellites and the International Space Station to advanced technology in disruptive computing, avionics, missiles, and autonomous systems. The position requires expertise in digital electronics design, circuit analysis, and testing of complex Electronic Circuit Card Assemblies and Units.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) and at least 2 years of experience in digital electronics. Experience with tools like Xpedition schematic capture, HyperLynx, Spice, and HFSS is valuable. Responsibilities For Digital Electronics Circuit & Unit Hardware Design Engineer (Associate Level or Mid-Level)

  • Design and development of state-of-the art digital circuit & unit hardware / digital electronics for aerospace applications
  • Electronics design, requirements and interface definition, modeling and analysis, testing, performance and design verification
  • Technical support for production and test of electronic products
  • Support projects involving Electronics design
  • Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products
  • Develop detailed designs of limited scope
  • Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design
  • Capture data for technical performance measures and performs basic analysis
  • Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product

Requirements For Digital Electronics Circuit & Unit Hardware Design Engineer (Associate Level or Mid-Level)

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years of experience with Digital Electronics, Digital Circuits, or Digital Electronics Hardware
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance
