Job Description

The Boeing Company is seeking an F15 Entry Level Software Engineer to join their Special Equipment Group (SEG) in Berkeley, Missouri. This role supports Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization, working on proprietary programs that develop analysis systems for combat personnel. The position involves working with Windows-based applications developed using .NET C# within an object-oriented architecture.

The role offers an opportunity to work on mission-critical software systems that directly impact military capabilities. You'll be part of an Agile scrum team, using modern development tools and practices including Microsoft Visual Studio, automated testing, and industry-standard version control systems. The position requires 100% onsite presence and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.

As an entry-level engineer, you'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements definition to implementation and testing.   • Define software requirements

Requirements For Entry-Level Software Engineer Developer

  • Critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree (preferred)
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (preferred)
  • Experience with C# and WPF (preferred)
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, Jira, BitBucket and Visual Studio (preferred)
