Responsibilities For Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer (Mid-Level or Lead)

  • Gather system level requirements for Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C), sustainment requirements definition
  • Perform & document analysis of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) systems, simulations, models & tools
  • Support reviews, analyses, simulations and component / system testing
  • Support testing and troubleshooting of sustainment related products / service anomalies
  • Participate in Minuteman III Guidance efforts to ensure End of Life (EOL) can be sustained or surpassed
  • Works independently or under general direction

Requirements For Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer (Mid-Level or Lead)

Python
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer
  • 3+ years of related engineering experience
  • Experience or coursework in Control Systems or Guidance, Navigation and Control System design
  • Experience with simulation and/or system/component modeling
  • Experience with Kalman Filter design, estimation techniques
  • Experience with implementing algorithms in real time systems
  • Experience with auto-coding of software
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink, MatrixX or similar tool
  • Experience in C, C#, C++, Ada or other common programming languages
