Description For Integration & Test Verification Software Engineer (Experienced / Senior)

The Boeing Space & Launch Division's Global Satellite Configuration and Control Equipment (GSCCE) program is seeking an experienced Integration & Test Verification Software Engineer to join their team in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is part of an initiative to modernize the global military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) ground system managing WGS Payloads for F1-F12 satellites.

As a member of the GSCCE team, you'll be involved in the complete product development lifecycle, from conceptualization through maintenance and support. The position offers significant opportunities to influence project outcomes while working in Boeing's collaborative mentoring environment. The role focuses on software product testing and verification, ensuring quality, reliability, and functionality of mission-critical systems.

The position requires strong technical expertise in software integration, testing, and verification, with at least 3 years of experience in related areas. You'll work closely with Systems Engineering teams, lead test execution, develop automated testing frameworks, and ensure the quality of software systems. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $104,550 to $165,600 based on experience level.

Responsibilities For Integration & Test Verification Software Engineer (Experienced / Senior)

  • Lead and execute integration, test plans, and documents
  • Support trade studies, performance analyses, risk and opportunity assessments
  • Participate in verification plan development and validation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and provide feedback
  • Review performance issues, identify root causes, recommend and develop solutions
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code within the existing codebase
  • Setup and configure test environments
  • Execute test cases and scenarios to verify functionality
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks

Requirements For Integration & Test Verification Software Engineer (Experienced / Senior)

  • 3+ years of proven experience performing software integration, test, validation, and verification
  • 3+ years of experience with Web Service integrations (REST / SOAP APIs)
  • 3+ years of experience with coding, debugging and development
  • 3+ years of experience with software integration and end to end testing methodologies
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements
