Boeing, a global leader in aerospace, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Onboard Performance Tool group in Seattle, WA. Responsibilities For Software Engineer (Associate/Experienced/Senior)

  • Contributes to development, documentation, and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
  • Develops code and integrates complex software components into fully functional software systems
  • Provides technical guidance and collaborates with team members and suppliers on software projects
  • Participates in development, selection, tailoring, and deployment of processes, tools, and metrics
  • Assists in planning, executing, and documenting software research and development projects
  • Acts as a subject matter resource for software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
  • Monitors and evaluates software team and supplier performance

Requirements For Software Engineer (Associate/Experienced/Senior)

  • 1+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle
  • 1+ years of experience with C, C++ or Java
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by export control compliance requirements
  • C++ development experience on both MacOS and Windows
  • Experience with airplane performance and flight operations preferred
  • Understanding of commercial, business and military airplane performance regulations
