Requirements For Software Engineer II or Senior Software Engineer, Texas Institute for Electronics

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong software development skills in C, C++, Python, or similar languages
  • Expertise with MATLAB, Simulink, or related control software
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and object-oriented programming
  • Experience with build systems, revision control, and software lifecycle management
  • Experience writing software requirements and specifications
  • Five years' experience in software engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
