Thomson Reuters is seeking a Content Developer / Data Engineer to join their team working on ONESOURCE Indirect Tax software. This role combines data engineering with content development, focusing on automating tax content delivery and improving technical processes. Responsibilities For Content Developer / Data Engineer

  • Facilitate and automate the delivery of top-quality Indirect Tax content
  • Manage deployment of script and tool upgrades, enhancements and fixes
  • Evaluate existing content creation and testing processes
  • Drive innovation by providing recommendations for automation
  • Develop requirements and attain tax research team sign off for large projects
  • Work effectively with Python and SQL
  • Document all projects/tools/scripts developed
  • Contribute to testing of tax content changes for quality assurance

Requirements For Content Developer / Data Engineer

Python
  • Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical role
  • Practical use of Python, SQL and REST services
  • Strong understanding of database concepts
  • Knowledge of Version Control Systems (e.g. Git) and Project Management tools
  • Advanced software skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, Access)
  • Detail-oriented with aptitude for analysis and problem-solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
