Senior Backend Software Engineer

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Toast, you'll be responsible for building new, innovative solutions to expand how Guests interact with our consumer-facing digital dining product (Local by Toast) within the Consumer product group. You'll work alongside frontend, backend, and native mobile developers to create the best digital restaurant experience for Consumers.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate with Design, Product, and other engineers
• Take on challenging end-to-end tasks in a supportive team environment
• Ship code that significantly impacts Toast's growth and strategy
• Experiment directly with Guests and Restaurants to test new dining experiences
• Champion best practices for development, deployment, and quality lifecycles
