Toyota's Integrated Vehicle Systems (IVS) Department is seeking an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Engineer to join their innovative team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Responsibilities For Engineer - Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Plan structure of parts and systems through target setting, packaging, electrical interface definition
- Develop and evaluate next-generation ADAS features
- Create and maintain part development schedule through to Start of Production
- Lead creation of performance and functional specifications for ADAS systems
- Integrate system software and Hardware Platform, Analyze CAN data and validate vehicle performance
- Perform virtual/HIL/MIL testing using model-based simulation
- Work with local development engineers and ADAS development engineers in Japan
Requirements For Engineer - Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years experience leading or collaborating on ADAS systems development
- Experience with basic architecture and vehicle ECU, CAN, CAN-FD in-vehicle communication
- Experience in development of ADAS systems using Python/C++
- Experience with development quality tools; DFMEA, DRBFM, FTA
- Clear and concise presentation skills with consideration to international audiences
- Excellent time management and inter-personal communication skills
