Truecaller is seeking a QA Engineer to join their Insights Team in Bangalore, India. The role involves assuring and improving product quality for features like SMS Categorization, Fraud detection, and Smart SMS. Key responsibilities include planning and maintaining testing processes, leading test automation activities, and working closely with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities For QA Engineer
- Develop test strategies for user stories
- Create and document test cases and product flow
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Execute performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance
- Identify test activities and dependencies across backend and frontend domains
- Coordinate/coach developers' participation in team test activities
- Ensure acceptance criteria and definition of done are met before task closure
- Collaborate effectively with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Requirements For QA Engineer
- 3-4 years of experience
- Experience with Issue & Project Tracking Software - JIRA
- Experience in tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, Firebase, crashlytics, or similar
- Experience primarily in mobile testing (Android, Automation) with web testing as a plus
- Knowledge of ADB Commands
- Experience in testing in a medium or large-scale agile software development environment
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
- Programming experience to identify causes of problems in the code base
- Proven experience in automating tests for Android applications using tools like Appium with Java, Maven, and TestNG
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with mobile testing across different Android devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions
