Senior Security Engineer

Twitch, the world's leading live streaming platform, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Product Security team. This role is crucial in ensuring the security of Twitch's services throughout the software development lifecycle. The position combines both application and infrastructure security expertise, working directly with service teams to implement secure defaults, identify security issues, and drive security improvements.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with various Twitch Security teams and senior leaders across both Twitch and Amazon to advance the company's security strategy. This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic security programs and influence security practices at scale within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include conducting security assessments, establishing secure defaults, and advocating for security-first approaches in design and architecture. You'll be instrumental in identifying and mitigating security issues using Amazon/Twitch tools and frameworks, while also performing comprehensive security reviews throughout the product development lifecycle.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $143,300 to $247,600 based on location, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), parental leave, and flexible PTO. You'll have the flexibility to work from several hub locations including San Francisco, Seattle, Irvine, Los Angeles, or New York City.
