Two Circles is expanding their Mobile Engineering team and seeking an Android Engineer for their London office on a hybrid basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on greenfield products for major sports brands worldwide. You'll be developing modern, scalable apps from scratch that shape the future of fan engagement in global sport. The position involves working with cutting-edge technologies like Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features. You'll be responsible for building native Android applications that reach millions of sports fans, focusing on quality, scalability, and performance. The role combines technical expertise with strong delivery focus, offering the chance to work on purpose-driven projects in a passionate team environment. Working arrangements include 2 days per week in the London office, providing a balance between remote work and in-person collaboration. Responsibilities For Android Developer
- Build and maintain high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to develop end-to-end mobile features
- Contribute to architectural decisions with focus on scalability, testability, and performance
- Collaborate within cross-functional squads to ship new features
- Ensure high standard of quality through code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices
- Work 2 days per week in London office
Requirements For Android Developer
- Proven expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Strong understanding of scalable app architectures
- Experience with UI/UX that adapts across screen sizes
- Experience with CI/CD environments (Bitrise, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with agile development practices and testing
- Experience with sports, media, or gamification apps (preferred)
- Familiarity with live data integration and streaming APIs (preferred)
- Personal passion or understanding of sports (preferred)
