Responsibilities For Midweight Backend Engineer
- Write clean, and reusable code following best practices
- Define coding standards and team conventions
- Lead and influence technical design, architecture and development of digital projects
- Work with Engineering Managers, Leads and Product Managers to define technical scope
- Set up software development frameworks for release management and automation
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers
- Keep up to date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology
Requirements For Midweight Backend Engineer
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in software engineering
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
- Hands-on experience using Node.js
- Strong understanding of database systems (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular or Vue.js)
- Familiarity with software architecture principles and design patterns
- Understanding of DevOps and platform engineering culture
- Excellent communication skills
