Software Engineer, Auto Refi

The Auto Refi team is responsible for scaling our auto refinance loan product. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll work closely with cross-functional partners to execute projects across the whole stack. You'll be responsible for making thoughtful architectural decisions, improving software quality, and delivering new ideas that achieve meaningful improvements to team metrics.

You'll be working primarily with Kotlin (Spring), Ruby (Rails), and TypeScript (React) technologies. The role requires excellent communication skills as you'll be representing projects in cross-functional conversations. You'll need to be comfortable with face-time and synchronous collaboration, including pair/mob programming sessions via Zoom.

This is a digital-first company offering flexible work arrangements across the US, with offices in San Mateo, CA, Columbus, OH, and Austin, TX. The team meets in person 1-2 times per quarter for 2-4 days of collaboration. You'll be part of a mission-driven company focused on enabling access to effortless credit based on true risk.
